Directions from Washington Beltway I-495/New Hampshire Avenue (Rt. 650)

• Take Exit 28B (New Hampshire Avenue South) towards Takoma Park.
• Bear right on Piney Branch Road (Rt. 320) and proceed south.
• Pass about 9 or 10 traffic lights.
• You will see Takoma Park Middle School on the left, just before Grant Avenue.
• Either park on a side street, or continue on to the Montgomery College Parking Garage.

Directions from Washington Beltway I-495/Georgia Avenue (Rt. 29)

• Take Exit 31 (Georgia Avenue South) towards Silver Spring.
• Turn left on Columbia Avenue. There is a left-hand lane and traffic signal.
• This immediately becomes Dale Drive (Rt. 391).
• Pass Colesville Road and Wayne Avenue.
• Turn right on Piney Branch Road (Rt. 320) and proceed south.
• You will see Takoma Park Middle School on the left, just before Grant Avenue.
• Either park on a side street, or continue to the Montgomery College Parking Garage.

To get to the Montgomery College Parking Garage
From Piney Branch Road heading south.

• One block south of Takoma Park Middle School, turn right (west) at the light onto
Philadelphia Avenue (also called MD Rt. 410).
• Continue on Philadelphia Ave. and turn left at the second light onto Fenton Street.
• Make the first right (King Street) and enter the parking garage.
• The bus stop for the free festival shuttle bus will be on Fenton, across the street from the
garage. (Look for signs.)
• If the Parking Garage is full, you may park in any of the open lots and hop on the free shuttle
bus.

Directions from Washington, D.C.

• Go north on 13th Street NW.
• Once you cross Georgia Avenue, 13th Street NW becomes Piney Branch Road.
• Pass under the railroad overpass at the District/Maryland state line.
• FOR PARKING GARAGE: At Rt. 410 (Philadelphia Avenue), turn left (west).
• Turn left on Fenton Street.
• Turn right on King Street and enter the parking garage.
• The bus stop for the free festival shuttle bus will be on Fenton, across the street from the
garage. (Look for signs.)
• If the Parking Garage is full, you may park in ANY of the open lots and hop on the free
shuttle bus.

Directions from Northern Virginia

• Take Washington Beltway (I-495) to Georgia Avenue South. Follow the directions from
Georgia Avenue

• Go through Washington, DC, and go north on 13th Street NW/Piney Branch Road.
• Follow directions above.

Directions from Baltimore

• Take 95 South.
• Take the Washington Beltway (I-495) going West (towards Silver Spring).
• Take Exit 28B (New Hampshire Avenue South) to Takoma Park.
• Follow directions above from New Hampshire Avenue.

Directions from Prince George's County

• Follow Washington Beltway to New Hampshire Avenue South. Follow directions above.

• Take Rt. 410 west, crossing New Hampshire Avenue to Takoma Park.
• Continue west on Rt. 410.
• At the light at the Takoma Park Fire Station, bear right onto Philadelphia Avenue.
• For the Montgomery College Parking Garage, pass Piney Branch Road towards Fenton.
• Turn left at the second light onto Fenton Street.
• Make the first right onto King Street and enter the parking garage.

• to go directly to Takoma Park Middle School, turn right on Piney Branch Road. The school
will be on the right, at Grant Avenue. Find street parking or go back to Montgomery College
to park the car.

Directions from Bethesda and Montgomery County

• Take the Washington Beltway/I495 heading east (towards Silver Spring).
• Take Exit 31/George Avenue south.
• Follow directions form Georgia Avenue.

• Take Rt. 410 (East-West Highway) east past 16th Street in Silver Spring.
• Continue west on Rt. 410 past Georgia Avenue and cross over the railroad bridge.
• At the next light, turn right onto Fenton Street to the Montgomery College Parking Garage.
• The free festival shuttle bus will stop on Fenton, across the street from the garage.

• Continue past Fenton on Rt. 410 (East-West Highway)
• At the second light, turn left onto Piney Branch Road (Rt. 320) and continue to the Takoma Park Middle School, which is one block down on the right. Park on a side street or go back
to Parking Garage.
