Dear Artisan: We invite you to apply to the Craft Show of the 30th annual Takoma Park Folk Festival, which will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2007, at the Takoma Park Middle School, in Takoma Park, Maryland. The show attracts 6,000 to 10,000 people each year. This show offers an excellent opportunity to display and market your craft in a well-attended, juried exhibition. In addition to high-quality crafts, there are seven stages of music and dance, family activities, and a mouth-watering array of international foods. If you would like to participate, please review the Craft Show Information Sheet and fill out the Application Form. We look forward to receiving your application by June 1. You will be notified by mail approximately July 15 as to whether or not you are selected for inclusion in the show. Set-up information, booth assignments and parking passes will be mailed in late August. All applicants (new and returning) are required to submit 4 slides of their work as well as the jury and booth fees. A slide of the booth display is no longer necessary. For the first time, the Committee will accept digital images. The images must be submitted on CD (please see attached craft show information).
