The Takoma Park Folk Festival strives to make the Festival's activities accessible to everyone. Please read the following information, because it might to make your day as enjoyable as possible. Parking On-site parking is reserved for performers and staff. We have a very limited number of handicap-accessible spaces, and they will likely be filled by noon. We cannot make exceptions after these spaces are filled.Stages The three stages inside the school are on the ground floor, and each have seating available (Abbott, Lenore Robinson/Dance, and World). One outside stage is easily accessible and on flat ground (Seventh Heaven). The other three outdoor stages (Grassy Nook, Grove, and Field) might require walking up or down small hills, and the grounds are sloped.Music Many performances will be supported by sign language interpretation. Look for the (hand) symbolRestrooms Two sets of restrooms inside the school are handicap-accessible. A port-a-john near the Crafts area is handicap-accessible and can be reached without using stairs. |
