Volunteers are welcomed to help on the day of the festival and also with pre-festival tasks. These tasks include: publicity, programming, sound, food, logistics, construction, parking, hospitality, recycling, fundraising, and more!

What a great way to meet your neighbors, have a good time, and help make a lot of people happy for one special day! A number of jobs are kid-friendly (for kids ages 5-17, with an adult), especially groundskeeping and door monitors. The Takoma Park Folk Festival is approved for student service learning.

If you are available for a 2-hour or 3-hour volunteer shift on festival day, please CLICK HERE to sign up, OR contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 301-589-0202, OR send an email to volunteer@tpff.org with your name, phone number, and preferred job and time(s).

We try to match our volunteers with their preferred activities and time slots, so the earlier you respond, the more choices you will have.

You will be welcomed by the up to 300 other volunteers who help make the Takoma Park Folk Festival a celebration of the arts and of our community.
