 Congratulations to Lisa Taylor winner of the 2008 TPFF Showcase She earned a set at the October 7 Focus concert with Johnsmith and will be performing regularly in the area. For a list of dates, click here. She has also earned a regular set at the 2009 Festival.
Lisa will also appear at 7pm at the TPFF fundraiser at El Golfo Restaurant on Tuesday, July 14, from 5-10pm. Since its inception in 1978, the Takoma Park Folk Festival has been a community affair, organized by volunteers from the Takoma Park area.
This one-day FREE festival showcases the local talent of the Washington, D.C. area and features all kinds of music, dance, crafts, children's entertainment, and food.
The Takoma Park Folk Festival, Inc., is a Maryland
nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status.
