Eileen Egan

Eileen Egan, potter, is making her debut at the Folk Festival this year, after participating in the Grant Avenue Market in Takoma Park in 2018. The Alexandria resident will be bringing mugs, bowls cups, vases, jars, and pitchers: “functional pottery.” Functional yes, but artistic as well, as Egan’s work displays glowing earth-tone glazes, in both simple and sculpted geometric shapes.
